2009 jeep grand cherokee review this car review is specific to this model, not the actual vehicle for sale. This makes the grand cherokee a fine choice for families who venture off-road or vacation in the mountains or other remote areas.  its edgy and angular lines make it instantly recognizable as a jeep. Inside, the atmosphere is light, comfortable, and enveloping, with lots of seat adjustments, and excellent outward vision around relatively slim windshield posts.  with nearly 70 cubic feet of cargo space, the grand cherokee is useful for hauling whatever a family may need.  a wide range of engines is available. The 5. 7-liter hemi v8 is updated for 2009, increasing from 330 to 357 horsepower. The hemi is particularly good for towing or driving at higher elevations. The high-performance srt8 model has a 420-horsepower 6. 1-liter hemi v8 and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in less than 5 seconds. The diesel engine makes it frugal for an suv of its size.  grand cherokee was last redesigned for the 2005 model year. Hill-start assist holds the brakes on a hill to allow smooth launches. Air conditioning is standard, along with cloth upholstery, cruise control, power windows, power heated mirrors, power locks with remote keyless entry, eight-way power driver's seat with lumbar adjustment, tilt/telescoping steering wheel with audio controls, am/fm/cd audio with auxiliary input jack, sirius satellite radio, driver information center, 60/40 split folding rear seat, engine immobilizer, water-resistant storage compartment, roof rack and p245/65r17 tires with alloy wheels. Quadra-drive ii full-time active 4wd is optional 795) with either engine. Quadra-drive ii adds low-range gearing, hill ascent and descent control, a special axle ratio, and front, center, and rear limited-slip differentials. It also comes with skid plates and front tow hooks. The laredo can be ordered with the 4. 7-liter v8 930). If this engine is chosen with awd, the price is $1730 and it also comes with quadra-trac ii, which includes low-range gearing. The limited also comes with jeep's uconnect gps and uconnect phone. Uconnect gps includes a navigation system with voice recognition and real-time traffic, a 6. 5-inch touch-screen, an ipod adapter and a 30-gigabyte hard drive to hold music and picture files, as well as navigation map information. Uconnect phone provides a wireless cell phone link. Limited 4wd 39,010) gets all that plus hill start assist, hill descent control, and quadra-trac ii with low-range gearing. Quadra-drive ii is an option.  the 4. 7-liter v8 is optional for both 2wd 930) and 4wd 1580) limiteds. The 5. 7-liter hemi v8 is optional 1750) for both 2wd and 4wd limiteds, and the 3. 0-liter turbo-diesel v6 is optional for both 2wd 2760) and 4wd 3560) models. Other options consist of a rear dvd entertainment system with sirius backseat tv 1720), chrome 18-inch wheels 995), class ii and iv trailer hitches 280-$430), and high-intensity discharge headlamps with auto leveling 500). Sirius backseat tv includes three child-oriented channels: cartoon network, disney channel and nickelodeon.  grand cherokee overland 41,110) comes with the 5. 7-liter hemi v8, and adds a wood-and-leather steering wheel, real wood accents on the doors and console, two-tone leather and ultra-suede seats embroidered with the overland logo, a leather-covered console and armrest, the high-intensity discharge headlamps with auto leveling, a class iv trailer hitch, and chromed 18-inch aluminum wheels with p245/50r18 tires. Platinum accents highlight the exterior. Overland 4wd 44,545) adds quadra-drive ii. The 3. 0-liter diesel engine is optional for 2wd and 4wd overland models 1010).  grand cherokee srt8 42,665) comes with a 6. 1-liter hemi rated at 420 horsepower, a lowered suspension, performance brakes, its own electronic all-wheel-drive system, and p244/45r20 front and p285/40r20 rear run-flat tires. Distinctive bumper fascias and 20-inch wheels make srt8 instantly identifiable. Also standard are auto-dimming rearview and exterior mirrors and automatic headlights. Also available are rear obstacle detection, a rear backup camera, hill descent control, hill start assist, and trailer sway control. walkaroundlast redesigned for 2005, the grand cherokee looks square-edged but modern, with a fashionably high waistline and small side windows. The shape of the body is designed to protect the sides of the vehicle from potential road debris.  while conventional suvs, such as the dodge durango, are built on a separate frame like a truck, the grand cherokee uses an unusual construction scheme jeep calls uniframe, a close marriage of a welded steel unit-body and underlying front and rear frame modules. This is an extremely sturdy and rigid concept developed back in jeep's days with unit-body pioneer american motors. The grand cherokee has earned a five-star safety rating in both front and side impact tests from the federal government.  limited models present a flashier appearance than laredos, with a chromed grille, bright inserts in the bumpers, and accent-color bodyside molding.  the overland is distinguished by mesh-texture grille inserts between its traditional vertical grille bars, which are platinum in finish; platinum accents also appear on the bumpers, side moldings, roof-rack side rails, liftgate light bar, and mirrors. The wheels are chromed, and the front sill guards are brushed stainless.  jeep reached deep into its heritage for the overland name. First built in 1903, the overland automobile was the earliest ancestor of the willys. Willys played an instrumental role in the development and production of the world war ii-era jeep, but was also the first automaker to seriously envision a civilian market for a military-style utility vehicle. The willys jeep debuted in 1946 and had its name shortened to just-plain jeep in the early 1960s. Although the jeep brand has passed through several owners since then, its lineage remains unbroken.  the srt8 has a monochrome look all its own, relieved by bright trim at the belt level and bodyside and accented by enormous five-spoke, 20-inch forged aluminum wheels. Functional air ducts in its more buff front bumper fascia improve brake cooling. Srt8 is available only in bright silver, brilliant black or inferno red. interiorthe seats are large and cushy (in all trim levels except srt8). In laredo models, they are upholstered in cloth with leather as a package option, while limited seats are two-tone leather with perforated inserts. In overland, the seats are upholstered in saddle-perforated high-contrast two-tone ultrasuede, featuring accent piping and embroidered overland logos. Overland also features real wood trim on the steering wheel, instrument panel, door panels, and gear selector.

2011 jeep grand cherokee review this car review is specific to this model, not the actual vehicle for sale. All-new, with silky new v6 and taut suspension. introductioneverything about the 2011 jeep grand cherokee is new and excellent, including a lowered price. There's a new dohc v6 that's smooth and powerful, making 290 horsepower and getting 16-23 mpg. There's a new super-stiff chassis with well-tuned independent front and rear suspensions that provide a comfortable ride on any surface, with solid and secure cornering. It's 3 inches wider for better handling and more hip room, with a wheelbase that's increased by 5 inches while overall length is only increased 1. 8 inches, thanks to a reduced front overhang.  the interior is stylish and made with high quality materials, especially the leather seats in the laredo models. Nothing is missed in the standard safety equipment.  the standard engine is a sweet new 3. 6-liter v6 with double overhead-cams making 290 horsepower and 290 pound-feet of torque. The big 5. 7-liter v8 hemi is still an option for all models. The 4x4 v6 uses a single-speed transfer case, while the 4x4 v8 uses a two-speed transfer case with selec-terrain and hill descent control. There are three levels of 4wd capability. Quadra-trac i is a full-time system with a single-speed transfer case and 48-52 front-rear transfer. Quadra-trac ii uses a two-speed transfer case and electronic sensors that distribute the torque according to tire slippage, up to 60 percent to front or rear wheels. Quadra-drive ii is available with an electronic limited-slip rear differential. Additionally, a traction control system called selec-terrain is standard with quadra-trac ii and quadra-drive ii; it allows the driver to set the for five different terrain situations. Normal, sport, snow, sand/mud, and rock. Laredo x 4,000) upgrades to leather seating, heated front seats, 18-inch aluminum wheels, nine-speaker 506-watt cd/dvd/hdd/mp3 audio, rearview camera, hands-free communication, 115-volt power outlet, and remote starting.  grand cherokee limited 36,320) and 4wd 38,820) add heated rear seats, bi-xenon headlamps with auto leveling, dual-pane panoramic sunroof with power shade, navigation, rain-sensitive windshield wipers. Also touches of brightness like: silver strakes in rear cargo area, door sill scuff pads with bright insert and jeep logo, body-colored fascias with bright insert, bright door handles, bright exhaust tip. The v8 1,495) is optional.  grand cherokee overland 38,715) and 4wd 41,120) feature an air suspension system and nappa leather seating with piping, ventilated front seats, wood and leather heated steering wheel with memory, cargo net, power liftgate, premium audio with navigation and sirius travel-traffic information, 20-inch aluminum wheels. The v8 1,495) is optional.  safety equipment includes electronic stability control, electronic roll mitigation, abs with brake traction control system, trailer sway control, hill start assist, hill descent control, frontal airbags, front side airbags, full-length side curtain airbags, active head restraints, and tire pressure monitor.  options include uconnect media center, flo tv, rear-seat entertainment system, sirius backseat tv, sirius xm satellite radio, uconnect web, uconnect navigation, and uconnect phone.  note: all prices are manufacturer's suggested retail prices (msrp) as of may 12, 2010, which may change without notice at any time. Prices do not include destination charges. walkaroundevery inch of sheetmetal is new, although it's still so unmistakably grand cherokee that it's not going to turn heads. Few will say, wow, look at that new jeep, although they probably should, because it's so much cleaner. This brings better economy, with less interior noise. It has a wider stance and shorter nose with less front overhang, giving it a subtle look of substance. It's a fast windshield, meaning more sloped than before.  and it definitely has substance, being longer and heavier, stretched in the wheelbase by 5. 3 inches, although it's only 1. 8 inches longer overall thanks to less front overhang. It's also 3 inches wider, for better handling and more interior space.  the seven-slot chrome grille is defined by six chrome slats over the black slots, while the headlamps sweep like winglets out from the top corners. Smooth frontal fascia with black airdam, recessed to lessen drag, and tidy small foglamps in trapezoid pockets. Aerodynamic bellypans run the full length of the chassis, chasing fuel mileage.  the sides have big rectangular concave sculpting, as if it's a place where jeep meets bmw, and slightly trapezoidal wheel arches, a distinctive if still subtle touch. The side glass is straight and unaffected, with black b pillars, darkly tinted glass and stainless steel trim. Cool.  jeep says the rear styling gives a nod to the 1963 wagoneer that started it all, and it's true (although we wonder how many besides us will remember mom's '63 wagoneer in high school that we snuck to the drag strip in the next state, one sunday afternoon, and ripped off crowd-pleasing 4-wheel-drive holeshots).  the backlight balances the slope of the windshield, although, retro touch notwithstanding, the entire rear view looks like that of a thousand other full-size suvs. That's because function rules, as it should; when suv rear-end styling gets fancy, visibility is often lost. We also like the flipper glass window in the liftgate, which has a convenient opening handle. The vehicle locks with the press of a button on the door handle, like at the tailgate. This is nice.  the body-colored parts in the laredo (mirrors, door handles, ding strip) look better than the chrome trim on the upscale overland, whose 20-inch wheels with five thick spokes just look big and bright and unimaginative. Far more jeeps will be laredo models (65 percent, expects jeep) with 17- or 18-inch wheels, which look better.  there are some new colors, including a dark green that's non-metallic, bringing a welcome and rugged touch, like a nod to the wrangler. interiorno jeep has ever felt this high-quality inside (especially when it gets rolling). A fold-flat front seat is standard, adding to the 68. 7 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats flat. The rear seats recline 18 degrees, and with the added legroom, life is easy back there. The grand cherokee would make a great family vacation vehicle. There's also an abundance of storage pockets and bins, including two bins under the cargo floor. A new rear suspension allows the spare tire to be stored inside the vehicle under the cargo floor, as opposed to underneath it.  the front door openings are 2 inches wider and 2 inches higher, and the rear doors open 78 degrees compared to 67 degrees on the previous model. That increased convenience is just one of the many details that make the 2011 grand cherokee such an improvement.  jeep engineers also spent a lot of time on nvh, and their work is reflected in the very quiet cabin, even with the throttle floored, even over rough pavement. We haven't seen a model with cloth seats, but jeep has always done good rugged cloth. The stitching on the overland's leather dashboard looks classy.  the instrument panel is redesigned, nicely, with clean white numbers and needles and nice backlight. The tachometer adds a blue area, from 800 to 2500 rpm, a reminder of the best fuel-mileage range.  the three-spoke steering wheel tilts and telescopes, and includes cruise control with audio buttons at the back of the spokes. The overland steering wheel is wood from about 10 to 2, and it makes the steering wheel too thick, because of the heating ele. 2012 jeep grand cherokee review this car review is specific to this model, not the actual vehicle for sale. New srt8 joins recently redesigned lineup. introductionthe jeep grand cherokee has very good road manners, five-passenger capacity, more cargo room than its predecessor and, if properly optioned, can be taken off the highway.  grand cherokee was thoroughly redesigned for 2011. For 2012, jeep has made a few notable changes, brought back the srt8 high-performance model, and added an overland summit to the top of the luxury range.  2012 grand cherokee models also get changes in packaging and pricing. While the least-expensive version appears about $3,000 less than last year's base model, it isn't really because it doesn't include power seats and other features that were standard for 2011. Every 2012 grand cherokee above the base model has seen a price increase.  jeep grand cherokee continues to evolve toward luxury wagon and away from the utility vehicles that made the name famous. Many grand cherokee models come with piped leather, and the list of features includes a heated, power tilt-telescope steering column, ventilated front seats, and collision warning system.  two-wheel drive is standard across the board. A 3. 6-liter v6 engine is standard and more than sufficient for anything but heavy towing. For that, they offer a 5. 7-liter v8. A 5-speed automatic goes with the v6, and mileage has improved slightly for 2012.  the grand cherokee interior is stylish and made with high-quality materials. The luxurious overland summit model is as stitched-and-piped as any chrysler and similarly expensive. The development of the grand cherokee goes back far enough that it paralleled the mercedes-benz m-class. Laredo is available with all-wheel drive 28,995).  laredo options include trailer tow, all-weather, off-road and convenience packages, and a laredo e group that essentially puts back what was removed from the standards list: keyless entry/start, 8/4-way power front seats, satellite radio and roof rails. The laredo x 6,805) upgrades to leather seating and shift knob, dual-zone climate control, heated power front seats, 18-inch aluminum wheels, nine-speaker 506-watt cd/dvd/hdd/mp3 audio, rearview camera, hands-free communication, 115-volt power outlet, and remote starting.  grand cherokee limited 2wd 36,795) and limited 4wd 39,295) go beyond laredo x with more chrome exterior trim, panoramic sunroof, bi-xenon smartbeam headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, driver memory, heated seats front and rear, 8-way power passenger seat, and rear camera and park sensors. Limited options include v8, quadra-drive ii 4wd, air suspension or milder off-road package, front sunroof with rear-seat dvd entertainment, power liftgate and tilt/telescope steering wheel, ventilated front seats, adaptive cruise control with collision warning, blind-spot monitors, cross-path detection, and two towing packages.  grand cherokee overland 39,495) comes with air suspension system, real wood trim and leather seating with piping, ventilated front seats, wood and leather power tilt/telescope heated steering wheel with memory, power liftgate, cargo net, navigation with voice-recognition and sirius travel-traffic information, 20-inch aluminum wheels, black mesh grille and trailer tow package. Overland is available with quadra-drive ii 4wd 42,995). Options include v8, rear-seat dvd, advanced warning package, and off-road package.  the new overland summit 43,095) and 4wd 46,595) get a chrome mesh grille, unique paint selection, wheels and stitched saddle and black cabin with black olive wood, chrome tow hooks, and the advanced warning package. Only the v8 and rear dvd system are optional.  grand cherokee srt8 54,470) is all-wheel drive and comes with a 470-hp 6. 4-liter v8, 5-speed automatic, brembo brakes, unique steering and suspension, bilstein adaptive damping, paddle shifters, 295/45zr20 tires on forged aluminum wheels, srt specific seats and heated steering wheel, and a one-day track driving srt experience. (we especially recommend that last bit.) features roughly mirror a limited, and options consist of a panoramic sunroof, conventional sunroof with rear dvd, 19-speaker 825-watt harman kardon sound system, three-season pirelli p zero tires, tow package, and a luxury group (advanced warning package, premium cabin trim and power liftgate).  safety equipment on all grand cherokee models includes electronic stability control with roll mitigation, abs with brake traction control system, trailer sway control, hill start assist, frontal airbags, front side airbags, full-length side curtain airbags, active head restraints, and tire pressure monitor. Safety options include hill descent control, active cruise control with collision warning, blind-spot monitors and rear cross path detection.  note: all prices are manufacturer's suggested retail prices (msrp), which may change without notice at any time. 2008 jeep grand cherokee review this car review is specific to this model, not the actual vehicle for sale. Yet it is instantly recognizable as a jeep.  inside, the atmosphere is light, comfortable, and enveloping, with lots of seat adjustments, and excellent outward vision around relatively slim windshield posts. The high-performance srt8 model has a 420-horsepower 6. 1-liter hemi v8 and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in less than 5 seconds. The smaller, 4. 7-liter overhead-cam v8 gets 70 more horsepower for 2008 for a total of 305 hp; we found this engine works quite well. The 4. 7-liter engine is offered in most states with e85 flex-fuel capability, meaning it can run on gasoline or up to 85 percent ethanol. The new entertainment options consist of sirius backseat tv with three child-oriented channels and jeep's mygig, a 20-gigabyte hard drive that holds songs, pictures, and navigation system map information.  grand cherokee was last redesigned for the 2005 model year. It rides better on all surfaces and its turning radius is tighter.  hill-start assist holds the brakes on a hill to allow smooth launches. Hill-descent control uses the abs to control the rate of speed when driving down steep hills. Air conditioning is standard, along with cloth upholstery, power windows, power locks with remote keyless entry, eight-way power driver's seat, tilt-telescoping steering wheel, am/fm/cd audio with auxiliary input jack, driver information center, 60/40 split folding rear seat, an engine immobilizer, water-resistant storage compartment and 17-inch wheels. Quadra-trac ii, which includes low–range gearing, is optional 595) with the v6 and standard with the v8. Quadra-drive ii full-time active 4wd is optional 795) with either engine. Distinctive bumper fascias and 20-inch wheels make srt8 instantly identifiable. Inside are sport seats, special trim, and a level of standard features roughly analogous to those of the limited model. Options can bring an srt8 nearly up to the overland level of comfort and convenience.  options include a rear-seat dvd entertainment system 1,200); a sunroof package 800); various trailer towing packages; uconnect hands-free cell phone link 275); rear obstacle detection 255); rear backup camera. A skid plate group 295) is available, along with an engine block heater 40).  safety. walkaroundin appearance, the grand cherokee is modern and square-edged, with a fashionably high waistline and small side windows. Srt8 is available only in bright silver, brilliant black or inferno red. interiorfor 2008, jeep grand cherokee gets an upgraded interior with a soft-touch instrument hood, a new steering wheel with controls for the electronic vehicle information center, a revised instrument cluster with brighter led illumination, a leather-wrapped and chromed parking brake handle, and new armrests with improved ergonomics.  the seats are large and cushy in all trim levels except srt8, the better to enjoy the generous interior space. On laredo they are upholstered in cloth with leather as a package option, while limited seats are two-tone leather with perforated inserts. In overland, the seats are upholstered in saddle-perforated high-contrast two-tone ultrasuede, featuring accent piping and embroidered overland logos. Overland also features real wood trim on the steering wheel, instrument panel, door panels, and gear selector. The center armrest is leather-upholstered, and unique colors are employed.

2004 jeep grand cherokee review this car review is specific to this model, not the actual vehicle for sale. Introduced more than a decade ago and redesigned five years ago, it lacks the refinement found in the latest wave of suvs. People were fawning over it. Granted, it was an inferno red overland model. Granted, the 2004 models feature a new front fascia that updates and freshens the looks. The point is, people still love the grand cherokee even though it's been a familiar site for some time now.  and they continue to buy them. Grand cherokee ranks among the best-selling suvs in america. Jeep sells about 220,000 grand cherokees a year. That's a whole big bunch. Grand cherokee sales outrank such popular nameplates as tahoe, suburban, yukon, expedition, and durango. And the imports don't even come close. In one month, september 2003, jeep sold 16,410 grand cherokees, which would not be a bad half-year for the mercedes m-class or bmw x5. This drives other manufacturers crazy. The marketing people for every suv sold in america list grand cherokee as a competitor simply because jeep sells so many of them.  why is grand cherokee so successful? For starters, everyone knows what it is. The jeep grand cherokee combines luxury with impressive off-road capability. It served as a symbol of success throughout the 1990s. It can tackle steep slopes, slog through mud, and plow through snow. It's reasonably quick with the available high-output 4. 7-liter v8. It was completely redesigned for 1999. It has been continuously revised since for improved ride quality, easier steering effort, improved brake pedal feel, and increased safety and convenience.  grand cherokee is luxuriously appointed yet competitively priced. Its interior is attractive and tastefully trimmed in handsome wood. Its list of features looks impressive. Msrps range from $26,980 for a six-cylinder 2wd laredo to $38,995 for a 4wd overland with a v8. Hordes of new suvs offer a smoother ride, better handling and more refinement. Grand cherokee has a relatively rough ride. Its new navigation screen is relatively small (though the system itself is modern and the screen works great for displaying radio stations). Its radio buttons are small, fussy and hard to operate. And in many other ways it does not feel like a contemporary product. Until then, the current model strives to deliver the american dream. lineupjeep has expanded the grand cherokee line to five for 2004: laredo 27,260), limited 32,190), and overland 37,015) continue. A new special edition model has been added along with a new freedom edition. This inline-6 with overhead valves is rated at 195 horsepower and 230 pound-feet of torque. A 4. 7-liter overhead-valve v8 is available that develops 235 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque and comes with a five-speed automatic transmission.  a high-output version of the 4. 7-liter v8, with 265 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque, is standard on overland and optional on limited, special edition, and freedom edition models. The v8 comes with the five-speed automatic transmission plus goodyear wrangler eagle es p235/65r17 tires.  laredo, the base model, comes with a high level of standard equipment, including a six-speaker infinity sound system with cd player, cloth upholstery, a six-way power driver seat, tilt steering, cruise control, and power windows, mirrors and locks.  the new two special edition models are essentially packages added to the laredo. The special edition features the monochromatic exterior design cues of the limited model, plus fog lamps and an am/fm/ cassette/10-disc cd audio system with infinity speakers. Special edition 4wd models are upgraded with the quadra trac ii transfer case. The freedom edition adds high-back cloth seats with jeep logo embroidery on driver and passenger seat backs and chrome tow hooks.  more luxurious is the limited model, which adds leather upholstery, automatic dual-zone climate control, fog lights, universal garage door opener, low-back bucket seats, and other features. A 10-way power adjustable driver's seat, a memory function for the driver's seat and mirrors, and other features are available in option packages.  overland adds satin-silver aluminum wheels and metallic-painted side rock rails. Overland comes with a 10-disc cd changer and express-open power sunroof. Ceiling-mounted side-curtain air bags are standard. walkaroundthe 2004 jeep grand cherokee gets a fresh look with a new front fascia, new grille and new fog lamp appearance for all models.  grand cherokee is readily identifiable in a market crowded with on-road suvs. From its jailhouse grille to its squared-off wheel openings, there's no mistaking the grand cherokee for anything but a jeep. Short front and rear overhangs contribute to its off-road capability, and to its pulled-taught styling. Slightly rounded edges and a subtle bulge in the roofline modernize, but do not detract from, a design heritage traceable to the 1941 original. interiorthe interior of the grand cherokee is attractive and comfortable. The overland's redwood burl wood trim is attractive and tastefully applied (and it is wood, not plastic).  the front seats are comfortable, though they seem cushy for serious off-road driving. Tall drivers with long legs will find themselves moving the pedals all the way forward (away from them). The pedals automatically reposition themselves with the seats and mirrors when the available memory function is activated, a boon to couples who are significantly taller or shorter than their significant other. That feature relieves the long reach to the dashboard for the radio controls, a reach made longer by the grand cherokee's high seating position.  the gauges on limited and overland models are electroluminescent, so the dials themselves appear to glow at night. It's a more pleasing look than the conventional setup, where the pointers and numerals are lighted against a darker background.  the new navigation system 1,200) nicely integrates the global positioning satellite data with the radio controls. The 4. 9-inch full-color display on the center console is relatively small by contemporary standards, but it's a crisp readout that displays a map of the surrounding area. On the other hand, this system costs less than most navigation systems. The screen does an outstanding job of displaying radio stations in big, crisp numerals.  the stereo system buttons themselves are too small and too hard to operate while driving. Annoyingly, there's a separate set button for station presets, more awkward than the more common method of holding down a preset button for a few seconds. This same awkward button is used for navigation functions. The available cd changer is mounted in the right rear of the cargo compartment in a form-fitting compartment, not as handy as an in-dash changer.  big knobs make adjusting cabin temperature quick and easy.  rear legroom is tight for long-distance trips with large fishing buddies, but adequate for a night on the town with another couple. Climbing into the back seats is relatively easy thanks to wide doors.  the rear seats fold flat (after removing the headrests) to reveal a decent-sized cargo compartment with a flat floor. Tie downs are provided on the sides and floor, handy for securing cargo. The rear tire lies under the floor, which allows mor.
